River Heights Veterinary Hospital strives to "give back" to the community
Annually we participate in Kendall County Operation Santa, Fox Valley Welfare events, Kendall County Food Pantry and the Prairie Fest Adoption event. Our annual pet giving tree benefits our local shelter and rescues. In 2011, Alexandra Juriga partnered with Kendall County Food Pantry to “Adopt a Family” each month of the year. River Heights Veterinary Hospital will donate the annual examination, vaccinations, intestinal parasite testing and Heartworm/Lyme Disease/Tick Disease testing as well as providing a year's worth of preventative mediation to all pets in a household of need. Our technical staff volunteer to bottle feed abandoned litters of kittens when the shelter is unable to. We then socialize them and adopt them to loving homes. The adoption fee for these kittens is then deposited in our Fur and Feather Fund. This charitable fund is then used to help our clients who find themselves in financial difficulty.
We also offer veterinary services at a discount to many rescue and shelter groups as well as advanced dental services to regional police departments, Brookfield Zoo and the Chicago Shedd Aquarium.
