Welcome to a behind the scenes tour of our veterinary hospital. A modern Veterinary Hospital is much more like a human hospital than your own doctor’s office. At your convenience (any time of day) come in for a tour and meet the staff.

Welcome to River Heights Veterinary Hospital
A clean spacious reception area offers a warm and friendly welcome for our patients and their Moms and Dads.
Refreshment Bar We offer refreshments of hot tea, coffee and fruit for our two-legged friends and water in disposable bowls for our four-legged friends.
A separate alcove offers a quiet retreat for our feline patients. We also have two examination rooms that are designated cat friendly to make your loved ones visit as stress-free as possible.
Our hospital has a complete line of Veterinary diets designed to manage common pet health issues
Central Hallway- This corridor leads to six (6) Examination Rooms, Comfort Room, Veterinary Dental Center and Boarding.
Comfort Room/Derby Suite- This warm comfortable room is used for consultation, a quiet room for critical or special need patients and for grieving the loss of beloved pets.
The Veterinary Dental Center is a state-of-the-art dental and oral surgery center. Take a look through the viewing windows at the digital dental x-ray system, two fully equipped dental work stations and the hospitals second surgical suite.
Our dental suite is used by staff veterinarians and board certified veterinary dentist Dr. Stephen Juriga. This room is specially designed and equipped to perform comprehensive dental care on dogs or cats.
Our six examination rooms offer a quiet environment to diagnose problems and discuss your pet’s health.
Our pharmacy stocks all the medications commonly used to treat the medical problems of our patients. Many of the drugs are human drugs and you may be familiar with some.
Main Treatment Room This room is centrally located in our hospital. This is where hospitalized or ill patients receive special care, tests or medication they need.
The intensive care area is located within the main treatment room between the laboratory and doctors office.
Our in house laboratory allows us to analyze your pets blood or urine samples as soon as we take them, resulting in a quicker diagnosis and treatment.
Surgery Suite- In this special room all major sterile surgeries are performed.
The ultrasound or imaging room is located off the treatment room. This room offers a quiet spot to perform ultrasounds.
The x-ray room is equipped with a high frequency x-ray machine and digital imaging system.
Pets that receive surgery are recovered in ICU then transferred to a separate ward from our boarding patients. These wards are kept clean and quiet. The soft music in the ward is provided to comfort your pet.
We have a large pet boarding area located in a separate wing of our facility.
Our groomer uses a hydro surge massage therapy system.
